Scouts

All the boys in our Pack are excited about the various activities and knowledge they gain at each meeting. They are also excited about seeing the friends they have gotten to know at the meetings and outside events.

In our Pack, we have five Dens:

Lion CubsLion is a family-oriented program. A youth and his parent or caring adult partner join Scouting together. A group of six to eight boys and their adult partners meet together in a group called a den. Dens will meet approximately twice per month. They have fun participating in den meetings and outings while making memories together.

Tiger Cubs - A program of exciting indoor and outdoor activities just right for a boy who in the first grade (and his adult partner). You as a parent are there with him to support and guide, but not to do things for him. He will learn to do things himself. As he learns and grows, your relationship with him will grow too!  The Tiger Cub program is based on the idea of Search, Discover, and Share. We will search out new activities, discover new things, and share them with others.

Wolf Cubs - Boys who are in the second grade or who are 8 years old are members of a Wolf Den. Working with their parents, these Scouts earn their Bobcat badge, then start along the trail to Wolf rank.

Bear Cubs - Boys who are in the third grade or who are 9 years old join a Bear Cub Scout den. Those who join the Bear den without having been a Wolf Cub Scout must earn the Bobcat badge. Then all the Cub Scouts in the den work their way along the trail to earn their Bear badge.

Webelo Scouts - The Webelos Scout program, for boys who are in the fourth or fifth grade, is filled with activities and outdoor fun. Everything in the Webelos Scout program is more challenging than the things the younger boys in the pack do. Webelos Scouts are still in Cub Scouting. They take part in Cub Scout pack meetings, events, and outings. But the Webelos den also makes its own plans and enjoys many activities that the younger Cub Scouts don't get to do.

Webelos is a gradual change from being an ‘adult-run’ den to being a ‘boy-run’ patrol ready to fit right into an adventurous scouting troop. This migration requires the parents and den leaders to give the scouts more and more control, decision-making power, and responsibility as they progress in skills, abilities, and maturity.
