The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl led business in the country and generates immeasurable benefits for girls, our council and communities throughout Central Illinois. Many successful businesswomen today say they got their start selling Girl Scout Cookies! The Girl Scout Cookie Program is a great way to fund troop service projects and troop activities. Girl Scouts will learn valuable life skills as they work together to reach team and individual goals. Digital cookie allows girls to take their cookie business to a whole new level! The Digital Cookie platform helps prepare girls to be leaders in the fast-paced e-commerce world of today. With this new and innovative online sales approach girls can customize the way they learn and earn by using technology in a whole new way and earning a variety of badges along the way. Girls can customize their own webpage, learn digital design skills, send marketing emails to neighbors and friends; and they can even reach customers around the country. Operation Cookie Share and the Fall Product:
Adopt-a-Soldier programs were started in 2011 as a give-back program to our military women and men at home and abroad. Girl Scouts ask their customers if they would like to contribute a box of cookies or donate to our military men and women. These programs demonstrate the power and hearts of our Girl Scouts and our community.
To date the program has provided over 1.5 million dollars’ worth of cookies, fall product and magazines to our heroes.
